Biography

Jonathan is Chaplain and Lord Crewe Career Development Fellow at Lincoln College, Oxford. He worked for 5 years as a youth pastor before studying Theology at the University of Cambridge and training for ordination. His PhD focussed on Luther’s doctrine of sin in dialogue with critical theory, and has recently been published as Sin and Theory. He is interested in the interaction between doctrine and the lived experiences of Christians and the Church and is currently working on a project looking at theology and comedy.
