Biography

Karen's research spans law and its dynamics with culture, politics, society, and human rights. Her publications cover human rights, rule of law and democratization, rule of law culture, legal mobilization, and more recently, migration. One of her recent collaborative projects investigate how socio-political factors affect Hong Kong people's decision to emigrate (https://doi.org/10.1186/s40878-022-00323-y).
