Biography
Dr. Kirsten H Mackerras works for the Oxford Pastorate and Developing a Christian Mind conferences, and she is Project Researcher for the Global Faculty Initiative. She completed her DPhil at St Cross College, Oxford, in Patristic Theology. Her research focuses on how the early Christians transformed Roman moral philosophy as they sought to establish their place within Roman society. Her monograph, The Anatomy of Justice: Ethics and Apologetics in Lactantius’ Response to Persecution, is forthcoming from Oxford University Press.
